- APPELLATION: DOCG - GRAPES: 100% - SOIL: Marl, ancient clay with high-level of limestone - ALTITUDE: From 280 to 310 meters a.s.l - : 55 years old - VINTAGE: Average cold and dry winter. Spring with good rainfall and below average temperatures. Rainy and hot June and very hot summer. Constant grapes maturation thanks to water reserves and mild September. The vintage was excellent in every aspect. - : End of September - VINIFICATION: Spontaneous fermentation for about 2 weeks in concrete tanks at controlled temperature. to extract colour and mostly the strong aromatic profile. Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks. - AGING: Aging for about 30 months in 15 Hl Garbellotto’s barrels, specially selected for this . Bottling in April following the most propitious moon phases. Maturation in bottle for about 10 months before going out on the market - ALCOHOL: 14,73% in vol. - PRODUCTION: 3440 bottles

- TASTING NOTES: Complex, floral nose with citrus notes, hay and a very elegant red fruit in the background. Palate of great power, many tannins but soft, silky and a savoury note that makes this particular Argiano’s Cru unique.
