Founded in 1998, Sias University was approved by the State Council and licensed by the Henan Provincial Commission to carry out higher institutional education. It is an accredited university in China. Sias University offers both degree and non-degree programs for overseas students. Step1: Prepare your application package.

Step2: Send your application package by email: [email protected]

After evaluation of your application documents by China government, we will post JW202 form and admission letter for you.

Step3: Apply for a Student Visa at Chinese Embassy.

As soon as students have received admission letter and the government JW202 from Sias University, student could apply for the student visa to China in their home country from the nearest Chinese Embassy. If your study period is MORE than 180 days, you will need to apply for X1 Student Visa. If your study period is LESS than 180 days, you will need to apply for X2 Student Visa.

Step 4: Get to SIAS

Upon receipt of the student visa, we strongly suggest students to inform us your arrival information 1 week ahead, so we could arrange the transportation to pick up students from airport or railway station when you arrive in Zhengzhou, Henan province, China. Guide & Tips to Sias University

Step 1: Visa Application After receiving the admission documents from our university, you may apply for a Visa at the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country. 1. If your study period is MORE than 180 days, you will need to apply for an X1 Student Visa which will require The Acceptance Letter, Visa Application for Study in China provided by Sias. 2. If your study period is LESS than 180 days, you will need to apply for an X2 Student Visa which will require The Acceptance Letter, Visa Application for Study in China provided by Sias. Further documents such as a Foreigner Physical Examination Form & Blood Examination may be required. Please contact the Embassy or Consulate in your country for more details and the specific requirements of your country. Step 2: Packing Notice When packing for your trip to China, please bring your national traditional clothing, as there will be activities in which you may show your culture to Chinese teacher and students. Step 3: Pick-up Service Reservation Free airport (Zhengzhou International Airport, the code is CGO) or train station (Zhengzhou Railway Station) pick-up service is provided for students arriving between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Please provide 1. Flight or Train Number, 2. Arrival Date and Time, and 3. Luggage Number to the Admissions Office, School of Literature no less than one week prior to your arrival. Due to transportation logistics, requests approval is not guaranteed for outside of these times. Students arriving outside of these times may reserve a paid pick-up service for a cost of 150RMB from the airport and 200RMB if traveling from the train station. Step 4: Accommodation Reservation The room should be reserved no less than one week prior to your arrival. Upon arrival at the campus, a copy of your passport must be submitted to the front desk. It is at this time that you will receive your room key and bedding. Step 5: Registration Registration will begin once you have paid your tuition and fees. By Taxi Tipping is not a conventional item in Chinese social cultures. Please feel no pressure to do so or not after having been served.

From: Xinzheng International Airport Distance: About 28.8 KM To: The Campus of Sias University It will take you about 30 Minutes and 100 RMB to get to SIAS.

From: Zhengzhou Dong Railway Station Distance: About 50.6 KM To: The Campus of Sias University It will take you about 60 Minutes and 200 RMB to get to SIAS.

Tips: Legal taxis are standard managed, licensed and metered and looked just as the one in the following picture. Please remember to ask for the receipt after having been served.

“Black Cab”: means unlicensed and unmetered, and you are not recommended to take those ones.
