HATS OFF – REAL DEAL NEAL James Neal posted a hat trick on Dec. 31 vs. New York Rangers, marking his second hat trick this season. The hat trick was the 9th of his career and Neal is the only active player in the NHL to record hat tricks with four different NHL franchises (PIT: 3, NSH: 2, DAL: 1, EDM: 2).

END OF A DECADE The Oilers closed out a decade in 2019 with a 7-5 win over the New York Rangers on Dec. 31.
