Example 1: White Plains – Parking at the Metro-North Station. There are multiple parking lots and spaces near the Metro-North White Plains Stations – the lots are operated by County Dept. of Parks, Recreation & Conservation or the City of White Plains. Next to the station is the White Plains TransCenter, a terminal/transfer point for many Bee-Line buses as well as intercity buses (Greyhound Lines, Bus, and Trailways of ) and Transit's I-Bus to Stamford, Connecticut.

Table 1through Table 4 describes the high level description of the example Parking Facility and the general services offered at the site. Although these descriptions are inspired by the White Plains Transit Center parking facilities, the specific data is manufactured by the PDP authors.

In this example, there are approximately 44 parking spaces in Lot 2A at the Metro-North White Plains Station. All are metered, and approximately 12 spaces are for persons with disability permits only.

Table 6 shows an example of the services assigned to a parking space. This is important for special spaces that have restrictions or special services. For example, there may be spaces that are reserved, or ones that are reserved exclusively for electric cars requiring charging terminals or for oversized vehicles.
