• 8 April 2020 – Provisional Measure Nº 948 of 8 April 2020 – provides legal framework for the cancelation of services linked to the cultural and tourist events.

• 15 Abril 2020 – Brazilian Supreme Federal Court decides that the amendments to Law Nº 13.979 of 6 February 2020 provided by Provisional Measure 926 of 20 March 2020 do not limit States and Municipalities right to regulate the limitation or interruption of interstate and intermunicipal transportation. This is seen as the Brazilian Supreme Federal Court taking a firm constitutional position that lockdown, quarantine and isolation measures can effectively be stipulated and enforced by State and Municipal authorities.
