On February 16, 2011 a group of Kings- borough retirees gave up a day in the sun to come together to recount the wonderful years that they had experienced during their careers at Kingsborough Community Col- lege. We met at a restaurant in Boca Raton. We talked laughed, remembered the good times and brought everyone up to date on what we were doing currently. . It was great to see everyone looking well and enjoying their retirement.

UPCOMING On April 29, 2011 we will host our first travelogue luncheon. This first luncheon will feature Shelly Friedland and Rachelle Goldsmith discussing traveling to China, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I am sure that any one who is planning a trip to these countries or would like to plan a trip to these countries will gain valuable information. If you would like to come and share your own experiences and information please do so. There is limited seating and you MUST make a reservation to attend. The lunch is prepared and served by the students in our Culinary Arts Program. Future luncheons are being planned so if you would like to present an Interesting travel experience let us know.

On May 19, 2011 we will be hosting a seminar on Estate Planning. This is a topic of interest to all of us. Kathleen Higgins, Esq. is an attorney who practices law in the areas of estate planning, real estate and elder law. We are fortunate to be able to have a speaker who is so knowledgeable in this area. Have you thought about your estate? What are you going to do with it? Do you want to make the decisions or do you want the State to do so? The seminar will be held in room A212 (the tapestry room) at 3:00PM.

For information and to RSVP for any of the above programs call Prof. Augie Tuosto at 718-368-5801. Leave your name and number if he is not available and he or I will get back to you.
