Welcome to the Teach Portsmouth Recruitment Event Portsmouth is a place where teaching matters and you can make a difference. Almost 90% of our schools are good or better, but we are not complacent and there is more that we want to do. 6 Routes into teaching/returning to teaching work

There are an increasing variety of routes into teaching. These include school-led training which may be salaried or unsalaried as well as university led training. If you are interested in becoming a teacher we have a wide range of training providers at today’s events who will be able to discuss the different options and help you to find a route that suits you best. The pathways available to you depend on your academic qualifications and your previous experience. Make sure you visit all of the stalls today. Victory Primary School

The Victory Primary School is a school on the outskirts of Portsmouth that serves a lively and cohesive community. The school, which opened in November 2010, is one of the best equipped schools in the area and we are very proud of all the facilities we are able to offer the children and our community. We have cutting edge ICT equipment, with over 200 mobile devices in the school for children to use and Interactive Boards in every classroom. The school is set on a large plot of land and we are fortunate enough to have two large playgrounds and five smaller playgrounds in the school. We also have an all-weather pitch which we can use for outdoor games and community use. A recent priority of the school has been to develop the indoor learning environment in order that it contributes to learning. The learning environment is now outstanding and to see more images of the inside of the school please visit our website. We strive to match our outstanding facilities and technology with outstanding provision for the children in our school.
