Seaspray Day Sailing Adventure – Full Day A magnificent day on the water! This full day sailing cruise includes a Fijian village visit and time ashore at Modriki Island from Tom Hank’s movie 'Cast Away'. Board the magnificent classic schooner, Seaspray, for a day exploring the crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches and lagoons of the Mamanuca Islands. Seaspray is an 83 foot schooner offering stable and comfortable sailing. You'll board Seaspray at picturesque Mana Island (transfers to/from Mana are included) to sail through the islands, first anchoring off Modriki Island. With a Seaspray day cruise, you can go ashore and explore the deserted island, sunbathe on the soft sand, or snorkel the colourful coral reefs. Great snorkelling spots are situated around the island, and our crew will take you on a tender to the best spots. After Modriki, we head to Yanuya Island. On Yanuya you will visit a traditional Fijian island village. You'll be welcomed ashore with a Kava ceremony (except Sunday) then have the chance to explore the village and meet the locals. A true highlight! The whole day is a highlight! But two of the standout features from the day are the visits to Modriki Island and Yanuya Island. Modriki Island - Modriki (pronounced 'Mon-driki') is a pristine little haven. The sand is vividly white, and the water is the clearest blue you can imagine. The island was made famous in year 2000 when 'Cast Away', the Hollywood block-buster movie staring Tom Hanks was released. Modriki is the island at which the movie was filmed, and although Tom’s character just wanted to escape Modriki, the last thing you'll want to do is leave! With a Seaspray cruise you can snorkel your way to shore and explore the deserted island, sunbathe on the soft sand, or read a book under a coconut tree. You'll probably find you'll be snapping a lot of photos too as this lovely island sure is photogenic! Yanuya Island - When you step ashore at Yanuya, your smile will just grow wider as you meet the local villagers. This Mamanuca Island is home to a traditional Fiji Island village. The villagers welcome Seaspray guests with a Kava ceremony and traditional dance (meke) performance. You'll be able to try some kava if you wish and then chat to the locals as you browse their handicraft. Finding Nemo 'Family' Cruise A fun family day in Fiji! South Sea Island is perfect for families with small children! If you would like a short trip out to South Sea Island to suit the kids, then this is the cruise for you. In just 30 minutes you'll be at South Sea Island where you can spend two hours and be back at Denarau in time for lunch. In the two hours, you can see the stunning underwater world of the Marine Sanctuary that surrounds the island with its colourful coral and magnificent fish life. Yasawa Islands Explorer - Yasawa Islands Sightseeing Cruise The remote Yasawa Island group consists of a chain of 20 ancient volcanic islands, some with dramatic summits just short of 600 metres. Cancellation Policy Bookings Cancelled within 24 hours of departure will incur a charge of 25% of the total booking value. Bookings Cancelled within 12 hours of departure will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking value. Bookings that No-Show will, incur a charge of 100% of the total booking value. Transfer to another South Sea Cruises cruise will incur no fee.
