The Thunderbolts were a little bit of a foreign are for me as I have never previously read any literature in the marvel universe pertaining to their group. The novel helped give enough backstory into not only each of the individual members, but the group as a whole (enough to where you should be able to connect the dots on your own accord anyway). Siege: Thunderbolts is a great tie in to the overall story and dark reign arc and I would highly recommend picking it up.4 of 7 people found the following review helpful. GrayAnti-Hero's (Paladin), Anti-Villains (Ant Man, Headsman), Psycho's (Mr. X) and Wack-a-doo's (Scourge) go on half-baked missions in support of the head of the US's espionage system, Norman Osbourne. Included in this collection are two distinct missions one where the team runs into Jeff Parker's Agents of Atlas, which serves as nice introduction to the team as well as ending in a classic Thunderbolt moment. The second mission is to secure a relic from Asgard during Marvels Crossover event "Siege."
