The Bucks trailed by 16 points after the first quarter of Game 5, making Saturday’s win the second- largest first quarter deficit overcome by a team in NBA Finals history. • The Bucks enter Game 6 with a 9-1 record at home this postseason and a 15-3 mark all-time in two postseasons at Fiserv Forum. This includes two wins in Games 3 and 4 against the Suns last week. • Giannis Antetokounmpo posted another 30-point performance in Game 5 as he put up 32 points with nine rebounds, six assists and zero turnovers. According to ESPN Stats & Info, this was just the fifth time a player has had 30+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists with no turnovers in an NBA Finals game since 1978 (when turnovers were first tracked). • In the Finals, Antetokounmpo is now averaging 32.2 points, 13.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 61.2% from the field. • After scoring a playoff-career-high 40 points in Game 4, Khris Middleton followed that up by scoring 29 points with seven rebounds and five assists in Saturday’s win in Game 5. Over the last three games (all wins) Middleton is averaging 29.0 points and shooting 47.1% from the field. • Jrue Holiday dished out 13 assists in Game 5 – tied for the second-most he’s had in a game this postseason – and scored 27 points for his third game of the 2021 playoffs with 25+ points and 10+ assists. Prior to this postseason, no Buck had ever tallied multiple games with 25+ points and 10+ assists in a single postseason, and now Holiday has done it three times. • Pat Connaughton has now made multiple threes in a career-high (reg. season or playoffs) six consecutive games after going 4-for-6 from three and scoring 14 points in Game 5. In the Finals, Connaughton is averaging 11.0 points per game while shooting 52.6% from the field and 50.0% from three. He’s also made 15 threes this series, which is tied with Middleton for the most among players from both teams.
