FOR ADULTS Mondays / 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 / 10:00 AM Diabetes Self-Management Workshop A 6-session, peer-led health education program for people dealing with diabetes, to compliment the health care participants may already be receiving. Enhance one’s skills and ability to manage health and maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle. Facilitated by two trained peer leaders. Participants are invited to bring a family member, friend and/or caretaker. Registration required.

FOR TEENS Monday / 2 / 4:00 PM Design For teens. Learn how to create a basic "platformer" video game. Equipment is provided; no registration necessary.

Wednesday / 4 / 4:00 PM Styrofoam Gliders Teens can learn about basic aeronautics and rocketry as we make sheets of styrofoam glide through the air and shoot straight up.

Friday / 6 / 4:00 PM Comic Book Club The 1st Friday of every month, discuss new titles and learn drawing and sketching techniques from a local artist. Pizza will be served.

Tuesday / 10 / 4:00 PM Arm Knitting Class Learn to knit a scarf using your arms -- no needles required. Supplies will be provided. This event is open to teens in grades 7-12.

Monday / 16 / 4:00 PM Drop-In 3D Printing For teens. This is a session to print a previously designed CAD file (from SketchUp, TinkerCAD, etc.). Bring your digital design and have it physically printed.

Thursday / 19 / 4:00 PM CNC Projects For teens. Learn to use our CNC and carve a design out of wood.

Thursday / 19 / 7:00 PM Allstate Readiness Teen Safe Driving Workshop Teens are invited to learn safe driving tips from certified driving instructor Jim Fatigate. Students can earn 1 hour of community service credit for attending. This event is supported by The Allstate Foundation as part of the Allstate Readiness Series.

Monday / 23 / 4:00 PM Volunteer Project: Baby Blankets Help us make baby blankets to donate through Project Linus; earn 2 community service hours. No sewing experience required. This event is open to teens in grades 7-12.

Monday / 30 / 4:00 PM LAN Join our Local Area Network (LAN) Party where we will enter a library server together and have fun in an online space. No registration is necessary and equipment is provided.

Thursday / 12 / 4:30 PM Lego Club Join the Lego building fun! Children in grades 1-6 are invited to design and build their own structures using The Trove's Lego set.

Sunday / 15 / 2:00 PM Alphabet Books and Alphabet Bingo Listen to some unique alphabet books and play alphabet bingo. To ensure the comfort & safety of patrons, tickets are given out 30 minutes before the program starts. Please arrive early.
