Sunday, Nov 1 – Arrival Into Welcome to Lisbon! Upon arrival into the you will be met by your private driver and transferred to your accommodations in the city for check-in. Enjoy the remainder of the day resting from your journey.

Lisbon is known as the white city, thanks to its unique luminosity. The light, the atmosphere and the climate offer marvellous walks all over the city. It has a beauty that extends beyond the monuments that is embraced with all the senses. On the right bank of the broad river estuary, the capital of Portugal graciously reclines over rolling hills. Lisbon is an extremely lively city, cultural events, "festas", fairs, and festivals, are a constant in the Portuguese capital. But it is at night that the main doors of entertainment open, with whole neighbourhoods dedicated to fun, partying and good company. Young adults are the main consumers of the Lisbon night, maintaining the tradition of entertainment night life sometimes until the early morning.

This evening, you will enjoy a special dinner with Fado show in a traditional neighborhood of Lisbon. A symbol of identity, Fado music is widely sung in Lisbon and represents a distinctly Portuguese multicultural synthesis of Afro-Brazilian music, local genres of song and dance, rural music, and urban song patterns of the early nineteenth century. Fado is typically performed by a solo male or female singer, accompanied by an acoustic guitar and the Portuguese guitarra, a pear-shaped twelve- stringed lute. It is performed professionally and informally in grass-root associations and often transmitted over successive generations within the same families. Fado is inscribed by UNESCO as a cultural intangible heritage since 2011.

Our special dinner will include a traditional menu with 3 courses and house wines from the restaurant, all while you assist to a very intimate Fado performance from well-known local artists.
