Jesus missed the bus

For the first six years of my life I went to Catholic school. Shortly after high school, I walked away from religion. I’m 63 years old now, and I’m damn sick and tired of living in a country where church has to clear any kind of legislation that’s going to be passed. All my life I have been listening to “God bless America,” “God bless America.” Is this result of God blessing America? Or is it the result of him not blessing us? And, if so, why? Another thing: “The lord is coming. Jesus is coming.” I’ve been hearing that for 63 years, so apparently, he ain’t got here yet? I think maybe he missed the bus. Print both sides of the story
