HABITAT: Coastal Plain records come from seepage bogs, marsh edges, and floodplain ridges. One Piedmont record also comes from a seepage bog; other habitats are less clear, but one comes from a residential area near a wetland. Records from the mountains come from riverine habitats and cove forests.
FOOD: Larvae feed on grasses, including Timothy and corn; native hosts are unknown (Wagner et al., 2011)
