VIRTUAL RETAIL

Lancôme launches its first virtual flagship in Singapore showcasing Lancôme’s Advanced Génifique Youth Activating serum. This virtual flagship proposes a 3D immersive retail experience for customers to enter, in the comfort of their own homes, thereby offering them a unique form of retail- tainment in a virtual space. Split into five zones, Discover, Explore, Inspire, Live, and Shop, customers have the ability to immerse themselves in the brand’s iconic Advanced Génifique serum which has grown into a global phenomenon since its launch over a decade ago. This virtual flagship also marks the first launch of our revolutionary skin diagnostic, eYouth Finder which will be rolled out globally.

In a global context of physical shopping limitations and since consumers are still cautious of high-contact services, Lancôme’s ambition is to replicate this virtual flagship model in other markets to continue being close to its consumers and to bring beauty to them via unique digital experiences.

POWERFUL VIRTUAL SKIN DIAGNOSTICS

Lancôme also offers virtual beauty services powered by augmented reality and artificial intelligence to facilitate the consumer’s e-shopping journey, as safety measures have disrupted in-store product trial and in-person consultations in stores around the world. On our e-commerce websites, we give customers the possibility to try on makeup virtually. We also offer a powerful virtual skin diagnostic and make-up consultations with our beauty advisors (e-BAs), with contactless samples so that customers can still physically try our products. Virtual beauty services are a must to accompany customers when it comes to choosing and purchasing products that best suit their needs.

LIVE STREAMING

To further engage and nurture proximity with our customers during the pandemic and whilst people were confined in their homes, Lancôme organized Instagram lives via Stories on its account @lancomeofficial with a number of its global ambassadors, makeup artists and skincare experts. And we continue to live stream on our sites regularly with beauty experts offering the latest information, tips and tricks to make the best out of the Lancôme products, by giving them first hand access to live try ons and authentic and spontaneous conversations in a spirit of generosity. The Singapore virtual pop-up also hosts livestreams with local celebrities and experts.
