The combined utilities generated 88,291,343 megawatt hours of electricity within West Virginia during 2004.

Not included in the tables are 1,167,338 megawatt hours of electricity generated by reporting industrial companies (non-utilities), making a total generation in West Virginia of 89,458,681 megawatt hours.
