OTHER EXPERIENCES related to the job application

From 2014- to present I am president of voluntary association “ARCI IMMIGRAZIONE ISERNIA”, which gives assistance to asylum seekers/refugees, and wants to encourage the integration and social inclusion. Through an immigration desk, we supply legal and bureaucratic aid, medical/health support (e.g. with volunteering doctors), as well as Italian language and “after-school” lessons to take “terza media” and/or CILS exam. In addition, we organise events and sensitisation activities addressed to local people in order to promote a positive idea of welcoming culture and create occasions of mutual meeting. Recently we have also collaborated and supported IOM with regard to AVRR applications from Molise Region.

From 24 to 31.7.2011 Erasmus+ Youth Project “Innovative Approaches on Refugees’ Education”, Sanliurfa (Turkey). Organised by GAP Youth association in Sanliurfa. This project aimed to the implementation of new strategies and innovative education programmes in order to improve the quality of education for young refugees and include them into the education system.

From 03.2000 – to 08.2000 I spent 6 months at the Ruprecht Karls Universität in Heidelberg (Germany) with the Erasmus Program.

Communication skills Over the past years, I have operated in different environments and I have never had any difficulties to get in touch with “the others”, adults as well as young people from any country. I consider myself a sociable and honest person, with extensive skills relating to human relations. Thanks to my experience in SPRAR Project and as a volunteer in ARCI, I have developed good communicative, interpersonal and intercultural competences: I always try to establish mutual respectful and trusting relationship with everyone.

Organisational / managerial skills Excellent organizational skills, especially in coordinating and managing groups. Thanks to my experience in planning and implementation of activities, I am strongly oriented to problem solving. Over the years, I have developed leadership competences in environments, which require an effective communication and ability towards interpersonal relationships, also with regard to a team or working group.
