COVID–19 Experience This COVID-19 pandemic has been very different and unusual experience of our lives. Not even our parents have witnessed something like this in their life time. The whole world was shut and locked. People were stuck between the four walls of their houses. In this hour of crisis we have lived every feelings, faced every moods of ours, From being happy at starting of lockdown due to long holidays to being bored in middle of lockdown days and being sad thinking of our routine life in lockdown at the end of lockdown. We did everything to keep us out of boredom. Our hidden talents were no more hidden. Some took up paint brush while some spatula in kitchen. Our innovative mind took toll on us. We learnt some unique unheard words like PANDEMIC, QUARANTINE, LOCKDOWN, SELF-ISOLATE, WORK FROM HOME, ATMANIRBHAR (SELF- RELIANE), GO CORONA GO and many more. We enjoyed preparing Dalgona Coffee, We loved watching , We loved hearing Bella Ciao. We did everything which we would not have done if it was not this time. We were never for so many days in home. Strange thing about this pandemic is we were not able to meet our friends, not able to go school/colleges, we couldn’t visit to our ground and play like before. Slowly we started missing those days, those pre pandemic days. Then came very rare moment of life “We missed our schools”, “We missed our teachers”, “We missed our classmates”. No online classes could make up that hollowness. No dishes felt that tasty which we felt while eating with our friends in school. No game, No T.V. show would bring that smile back that enjoyment back. This crisis situation has thought us the value of our life, value of our relations, value of our time, value of our neighbours, value of our health. With the advent of this COVID-19 we have learnt that we can’t live alone. We don’t want to live alone. May these days end soon. May we keep up our hopes for the sunshine, as sun shines after coming out from clouds TODAY or TOMORROW…!!
