For the first time in a long time, I am 2001-02 Milwaukee - excited. It has been a long time since I have been excited, but the thing I have been 2002-03 Milwaukee NCAA First Round excited the most about is the guy leading the program.” - 2003-04 Milwaukee NIT First Round 2004-05 Milwaukee NCAA Sweet 16 “I think of all the coaches who I have covered in , everybody has 2005-06 Tennessee NCAA Second Round their thing that makes them special. All of the successful ones are great on the floor 2006-07 Tennessee NCAA Sweet 16 in some shape or form, but then they have one quality that separates them. No one is 2007-08 Tennessee NCAA Sweet 16 better at energizing a program, no one is better at igniting a fan base than Bruce, and 2008-09 Tennessee NCAA First Round the Tennessee example is a perfect one. It was a half empty building that they may be 2009-10 Tennessee NCAA Elite 8 even papering to get to half, and then Bruce comes there, and you can’t get a ticket. 2010-11 Tennessee NCAA Second Round He just has that energy, that charisma, he’s a fabulous basketball coach, but that 2014-15 Auburn - charisma is what makes his programs extraordinary.” - Mike DeCourcey 2015-16 Auburn - 2016-17 Auburn - “Bruce Pearl is one of the best coaches in the country, and I think he is doing a terrific job building up the Auburn program, and I think that trajectory is going to continue in that direction. I think he is doing a great job.” - Jay Bilas 2017-18 AUBURN MEN’S BASKETBALL Auburn vs. Mississippi State | Jan. 13, 2018
