• Village Enhancements – High Street (B2116), . • Queen Elizabeth Avenue Boulevard Project – supporting measures including cycling facilities (only on the South Side), coordinated with new street lighting, carriageway resurfacing and tree planting. • Safer Routes to Schools Project at Manor Field School, Burgess Hill. • School Safety Zone at Birchwood Grove/ Newick House Schools, Burgess Hill • Public Right of Way Improvements – footpath 12BH between Folders Lane and Thatchers Close, Burgess Hill. • Creation of a ramp/sloping footpath at the steps by Burnside on the Victoria Park industrial estate, Burgess Hill. • Introduction of Pedestrian Crossing Phase - Stone Pound Crossroads, Hassocks (additional pedestrian phases in particular to serve the Road/ Eastern arm). • Replacement pedestrian and cycle bridge over railway line between St. Wilfrids Close and Cants Lane.
