with thanks! With the 2015 season drawing to a close today, Millicent Print would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have made contributions to the MSE Budget over the last six months. Without the support of the football and netball clubs associated with the MSE and the regular columnists, the Budget would not be known as one of the best publications of its type in the State - something all associated with the league can be proud of. All must be congratulated for their efforts as the success of the Budget cannot survive without it being the voice of the clubs. Credit must also be given to the businesses who have supported the Budget through advertising. The best of luck to all teams competing in today’s finals.

The 2015 season has been a solid and positive one for the Glencoe Football Club with many highlights both on and off the field. On the field it was certainly pleasing to see the development that all of our football teams demonstrated through the season. Our A Grade team under the guidance of first season coach Keith (Hooker) Ransom and the B Grade team under the direction of Simon Phillips both had good seasons and were able to improve on their consistency in the second half of the season to eventually reach the finals. Unfortunately both teams were not able to progress beyond the first semi-final, but the commitment and endeavour of our senior players could not be faulted and if we can continue to foster our youth and bring some Back (L-R): Ted Peacock (Team Manager), Matthew Poehlner, Patrick Mitchell, Adam Creek, Nick Martin, Tory Weaver, Trent Hawke, Clay Von Duve, Jayson Finnis, Ben Hentschke. 30 - MID SOUTH EAST BUDGET, GRAND FINAL, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2015 www.msefl.com.au hatherleigh fc president’s report

Season 2015 is quickly coming to an end and it has been a somewhat disappointing year for the Eagles. Our two colts sides have been flying the flag for us this year making the finals but our A Grade squad had a disastrous year with injuries with as many as 10 missing for a lot of the year. This has a big effect on the Reserves as they had to use over 50 players to fill a side each week. I would like to thank many people who have helped put our sides on the ground each week. Thanks to Matt Nettle and Sam Fitzgerald who coached the Under 11s. We were very lucky to once again have good numbers in this group and they have had a lot of fun and learnt a lot for the year. 44 - MID SOUTH EAST BUDGET, GRAND FINAL, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2015 www.msefl.com.au be a game changer on the road

The football season may be drawing to an end but the battle to drive down road trauma on our roads and highways isn’t and must continue. The last quarter of 2015 has started. The statisticians tells us we are lagging behind. Our supporters, families and friends expect and demand better results, they have had enough of dealing with loss after loss, they are hurting. We know there is no room, no time for complacency. Everyone knows what to do and what we shouldn’t do and the consequences. All of us must play our part. From September to the end of December and beyond we expect everyone to lift their game, overcome the sorry results of the past and turn season 2015 around while we can. This message and our No Winners Here scoreboard as at midnight 14/09/15 is brought to you by the Limestone Coast Local Government Association and the combined road safety groups of the Limestone Coast.

Ben O’Dine was awarded the MAC “Game Changer” medal at the game between Port MacDonnell and Glencoe in round 12 this season.
