QUESTIONS

1. MR. D. L. KEORAPETSE, MP. (SELEBI PHIKWE WEST): To ask the Minister of (274) Health and Wellness to state:

(i) the total number of doctors that are General Practitioners;

(ii) the number of those who are Batswana and expatriates and their nationalities; and

(iii) if he acknowledges that there are doctors from countries where it is difficult to verify the authenticity of qualifications and what is being done about this issue.

2. MR. T. B. LUCAS, MP. (BOBONONG): To ask the Minister of Environment, (277) Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism to state the progress made in Bobirwa with regard to the following tourism products or types:

(i) cultural tourism;

(ii) heritage tourism;

(iii) religious tourism;

(iv) adventure tourism; and

(v) if there are any plans to expand each of the tourism products stated above and if so, what are those plans.

3. MR. P. MAJAGA, MP. (NATA-GWETA): To ask the Minister of Health and (278) Wellness if he is aware that upgrading of health posts to clinics is lagging behind in Tsokatshaa, Kutamogoree, Mosetse and Maposa; and if so, to state:

(i) what has caused the delay;

(ii) if the Ministry comprehends the number of health posts that were not upgraded in the Nata-Gweta Constituency; and

(iii) when he intends to hire an X-Ray technician at Gweta Primary Hospital as the constituents of Nata-Gweta are suffering because they alternatively have to seek medical attention at Tutume Primary Hospital.

4. DR. K. GOBOTSWANG, MP. (SEFHARE-RAMOKGONAMI): To ask the Minister of (279) Transport and Communications to update this Honourable House on the maintenance of the following roads:

(i) Mahalapye-Machaneng;

(ii) Machaneng-Sefhare;

(iii) Sefhare-Ramokgonami;

(iv) Sefhare-Borotsi-Chadibe; and

(v) Chadibe-Mokobeng-Ngwapa.

5. MS. T. MONNAKGOTLA, MP. (KGALAGADI NORTH): To ask the Minister of (280) Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security to brief this Honourable House on the connection of electricity in Zutshwa, , Ukhwi, and settlements.

6. MR. S. J. BROOKS, MP. (KGALAGADI SOUTH): To ask the Minister of Health (281) and Wellness to state when he will upgrade the following facilities:

(i) Primary Hospital which was proposed for the financial year 2019/2020; and

(ii) and Werda clinics with maternity to 24 hour polyclinics as proposed in the 2017/2018 financial year.
