3. Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives

Once a week, Entercom Miami airs recruitment advertisements on all radio On-Air EEO Policy and Periodically Entercom stations, seeking applicants across all departments. Advertisements inform EEO Coordinator 1 Invitation to Receive throughout Miami the South Florida area of Entercom’s EOE policy and invite all organizations Program Directors Job Openings the year to be a part of our recruitment process.

Periodically Managers are trained regarding EEO compliance rules, and are given forms Entercom EEO Coordinator 2 Manager EEO Training throughout and policy memos. All Department Heads are expected to adhere to the EEO Miami All Hiring Managers the year Rules and complete all necessary EEO paperwork for each new hire.

Periodically The websites for each of the stations in the Employment Unit include a link to Entercom 3 Entercom Careers Page throughout the Entercom Careers page, which has information about careers in EEO Coordinator Miami the year broadcasting.

Each vacancy at the Employment Unit, including upper-level category openings, is posted on the sites of organizations that are members of the Periodically DirectEmployers Association Job Syndication Alliance. Members of the DirectEmployers Entercom 4 throughout Alliance include organizations whose membership includes participation of EEO Coordinator Association Miami the year women and minorities, veterans and military families, government agencies, as well as other job candidates that might not be aware of employment opportunities in broadcasting.

Through a partnership with the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Connecticut School of Connecticut scholarships were awarded on Entercom Miami’s behalf. The scholarships 5 Broadcasting Ongoing School of Business Manager are awarded on the basis of talent and need, and are paid for through a trade Scholarship Program Broadcasting with the school for on air advertising.

Entercom Miami General Sales Manager attended the Women of Tomorrow event hosted by the Miami Dolphins. She participated in a “Women in Sports” panel discussion which including Miami Dolphins Senior Leadership as well as leaders from their sports partners including Entercom. The Women of Women of Tomorrow Hard Rock 6 1/11/19 Tomorrow mission is to inspire, motivate and empower at-risk young women General Sales Manager Panel Speaker Stadium, Miami to live up to their full potential through unique groups mentoring program with highly accomplished professional women and scholarship opportunities. They operate in partnership with public school districts. Each group is diverse in its composition with girls in 9th-12th grades.

WAXY Sports Talk Host spoke to a Communications Class of about 25 University of Miami University of students at University of Miami to discuss his career at 790 The Ticket, how 7 2/21/19 Sports Talk Host Lecture Miami to create sports campaigns, and the relationship media has with college and professional sports in 2019.

WAXY On Air Host was guest speaker at the graduate Sports Media class at Barry University. During the session, he discussed his career as talk show Barry Barry University host and sports reporter. Topics included how to get started in Radio, how 8 2/21/19 University, Sports Talk Host Guest Speaker has the business changed, how has social media affected sports radio, and Miami Shores how to prepare for the show. A mix of sports management and MBA students, totaling 8, were in attendance.

Entercom Miami participated in a Job Fair at the BB&T Center hosted by Job NewsUSA.com and sponsored by Florida Panthers, where 974 job seekers BB&T Center, Traffic Director 9 JobNewsUSA Job Fair 3/6/19 attended. Entercom Miami representatives collected resumes, distributed Sunrise, FL Promotion Assistants lists of open positions, and spoke to job applicants. The job fair was promoted on-air and on stations’ websites and social media.

WKIS Afternoon On Air Host, and WLYF Morning On Air Host were guest Chaminade Chaminade Madonna speakers to female students at Chaminade Madonna High School for Madonna High 10 International Women’s 3/8/19 International Women’s Day. The objective was to speak of their careers in WKIS and WLYF On Air Hosts School, Day Guest Speakers Radio, the road to success, challenges along the way, how to stay focused on Hollywood, FL their path, and how to compete with men with equality & pay.

Mater Beach Academy Mater Beach WLYF/WMXJ Program Director was guest speaker at Mater Beach Academy 11 Career Day Guest 3/15/19 Academy, Charter School. He spoke to 100 students from Grades 2-6 about careers in Program Director Speaker Miami Beach Radio.

Mater Gardens Mater Gardens WPOW Morning Show Host attends various events, representing WPOW, at Elementary WPOW Morning Show 12 Elementary Mentor 3/22/19 Mater Gardens Elementary throughout the year such as Career Days and School, Miami On Air Host Chat pep rallies; and participates in ‘mentor talks’ with students. WQAM Afternoon On Air Host was visited by 5 students and the Professor Barry University Entercom from Barry University Sports Media Class. The students observed the live WQAM Afternoon On Air Host 14 students Radio Station 4/16/19 Miami show operations and learned more about careers in Radio from the Producer Producer Tour and On Air Host.
