April 2020 Families and businesses are saving with the help of ENERGY STAR® Illinois is home to about 470 businesses and organizations that participate in U.S. EPA’s ENERGY STAR program, including: 58 manufacturers of ENERGY STAR certified products 30 companies supporting independent certification of ENERGY STAR products and homes 41 companies building ENERGY STAR certified homes, and many businesses, schools, governments, and faith-based groups using ENERGY STAR to avoid energy waste. Across Illinois in 2019 5.4 million customers were served by ENERGY STAR utility and energy efficiency program partners Wrigley Building, Chicago, IL.
