Accommodation and meals

The Center for International Peace Operations (ZIF) in cooperation with the German Federal Foreign Office will provide accommodation (single rooms) and all meals starting with dinner on Sunday, 27 May until lunch on Friday, 1 June 2018.

Any additional costs, such as extra nights, additional drinks (including during meals), telephone calls, laundry, etc., are at participant’s own expenses and payable directly to the hotel when checking out.

Travel and transportation upon arrival

The international airports in Berlin are: Berlin Tegel (closer to the venue) and Berlin Schönefeld.

A taxi from Tegel Airport would cost approximately 20 Euros. A taxi from Schönefeld Airport would cost around 60 Euros. Public transport connections to the venue:

From Tegel Airport - take the bus (128) in a direction to U Osloer Straße until you reach the last stop. Change into the tramway (M13) towards S Bornholmer Straße till Osloer Straße/Prinzenallee. From there on, you have to walk 250 m on the right side of the street. Follow the street course until you reach the Wyndham Garden Berlin Mitte Hotel. Uber is also available at : https://www.uber.com/airports/txl/

From Schönefeld Airport - follow the RE7/RB14 from Schönefeld Airport to S+U Alexanderplatz. After that, take the U8 to Pankstraße. Change into the bus (M27) direction S+U and head to Osloer Straße/Prinzenallee. From there on, walk 250 m on the right side of the street. Follow the street course until you reach the Wyndham Garden Berlin Mitte.

From Berlin Train Main Station - take the S-Bahn towards Alexanderplatz. After that, take the U-Bahn (U8) till Pankstraße. Change into the bus (M27) and head in the direction to S+U Pankow until you reach Osloer Straße/Prinzenallee. From there on, walk 250 m on the right side of the Osloer Straße. Follow the street course until you reach the Wyndham Garden Berlin Mitte.
