Basic Directions

Josai University Educational Corporation will manage and operate the Corporation during the period of this Plan in accordance with the following basic approaches.

To become a university that is trusted and chosen by stakeholders, including students and their parents and guardians, we will place learners at the center of all that we do and thoroughly educate each and every student to equip them with the ability to be self-reliant and produce results.

Through the enhancement of educational programs that demonstrate our universities’ regional and international characteristics and the promotion of education that integrates the humanities and the sciences, we will develop people who have a basic knowledge of data science and who can create new value in response to the demands of society while overcoming challenges.

To establish an organization and financial foundations to support the individual universities’ sustainable development, we will strengthen our governance, organizational management, and crisis management systems. We will also maintain and further strengthen our sound financial foundations through various measures to increase revenue and reduce expenditure. (1) Strengthen governance through the establishment and penetration of compliance systems; (2) Establish new personal evaluation systems to realize the appropriate evaluation of staff achievements and capabilities and wages and benefits that are commensurate with that evaluation; (3) Promote information security measures and establishment of appropriate information security systems; (4) Establish frameworks for the deployment of strategic public relations; (5) Ensure stable revenue, including payments from students, and the review and reduction of recurring expenses.
