Women & Children (Boys&Girls <18 years) Men 18 years and above Highlights ● On 16 July 2014, AFAD - the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency of - announced that the total number of Syrians registered and assisted in 22 camps located in 10 provinces was 219,295. AFAD reported that during the period of 15-16 July 2014, a total of 33 Syrians were admitted and registered in the camps and 497 Syrians voluntarily returned to Syria.

● The Provincial Director of AFAD in Mardin informed UNHCR that before the police started the Malatya registration of non-camp Syrians, AFAD had enumerated about 58,000 Syrians living in Mardin Beydagi province. Out of this total, about 50% are living in Kiziltepe town of Mardin, while , 7,543 Mardin city center and towns are also hosting several thousands of Syrians.

● According to the provincial AFAD officials, the major needs of non-camp Syrians living in K.Maras Mardin province are shelter and food, but there are also several thousands of children who can Adıyaman not attend school due to lack of capacity.
