Position Summary:

Job Overview: The qualified candidate will work in the Youth Baseball and Softball Department. Baseball Factory is expanding to include softball programs for girls 10‐18 in the fall of 2010. The qualified candidate will assist with developing a recruiting manual for college‐bound softball players. In addition, the candidate will communicate with the Senior Director of Youth Baseball and Softball to create youth training development programs for softball.

Position Summary/Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing a softball recruiting guide for parents and players 2. Assist in developing a video workout format 3. Assist in developing a youth training program/format 4. Attend softball events to host a seminar with parents about the recruiting process

Critical Performance Characteristics:

Essential types of knowledge required in this position: Strong understanding of softball college recruiting, youth training and instruction techniques. General computer knowledge is also required.

Essential performance skills required in this position: Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients. Management skills, leadership, and motivational ability are crucial. Organization, detail oriented, and multi task skills are also essential. Ability to budget time effectively.

Essential behavior required in this position: Ability to get along with others is crucial. An unselfish “can do” attitude is essential. Need to be willing to do whatever it takes to stay within deadlines and remain on task. Patience is a must as well.
