St. Henry High School became a district high school in 1984 which serves students in Administration grades nine through twelve. Students come from numerous counties in the Northern David M. Student to teacher ratio: 12:1 Average class size: 18 THE CURRICULUM Full-time faculty: 38 The academic program is organized into a seven period day with classes meeting five Part-time faculty: 6 times per week for forty-five minute periods. The school year runs from the middle of August through the end of May and is divided into four grading periods of nine weeks Enrollment 2018-2019 each. Twenty-four credits are required for graduation. History, U.S. Government, Human Geography, Psychology, English Language, English 2019 ACT DATA Composite 25.8 Literature, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, Latin, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English 26.6 Statistics, Calculus, Computer Science, Art History, and Studio Art. Of the 354 exams Math 24.8 taken, 85% of the students had scores of 3 or higher. Reading 26.9 Honors courses are offered in English I, II, and III, STEM Explorations, Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Accounting II, Precalculus, Calculus, Science 25.0 Physics, Computer Science, Cyber Science, World Civilization, Latin I, II, and III, Students tested: 138 Percent of class: 100% Spanish I, II, and III. Governor's Scholars Program 2019 6 GRADING AND RANKING 2018 5 St. Henry assigns number grades using the following system: 2017 6 A = 93-100% B = 85-92% C = 77-84% D = 70-76% F = 69-below 2016 6 Advanced Placement courses are weighted at 1.08. Honors courses are weighted at 1.04. Governor’s School for the Arts 2019 1 Dual Credit courses are weighted at 1.08. The weighted average will only be reflected in 2016 1 the student's GPA and class rank, not on the transcript as a grade in that particular course.
