Dhruv’s Times

Our motto: “If you read, you will succeed!”

Vol. 10 20/04/20

From the A warm welcome to another edition of my e-newspaper: DT! This is Editor’s the tenth edition and thanks to all of you who have encouraged me to write more and more volumes of DT. There will be a slight update desk on the newspaper. I will add two more columns to this newspaper. The first column is called, ‘Languages U can Learn’ (for those who want to learn more complex languages like Croatian, Korean etc.) and the second one is called, ‘Interview Time’ (This I had told you yesterday - I would interview some of my friends and schoolmates from school). So, have fun reading these columns!

Yesterday in the evening I was playing with my football when a lightbulb struck me: What if our life had been taken over by virtual reality? Now, when our life turns into a video game there is a good and bad thing:

The good thing is that almost 80% (that includes me) of the people like video games and they would start interacting with the characters of the video game they like, and they would start playing with them 24/7.

The bad thing – what if the characters of a video game invade our planet Earth? I saw a movie called ‘Pixels’ and the exact same thing happens - The characters of all video games invade Earth. So the question still remains hovering on everyone’s brain - What if video game characters invade our planet Earth?

Can you think of an answer for that question? If you can, please write to me via Gmail. For first-time readers, my email ID is [email protected].

Enjoy the fun in this newspaper!

My favorite song is ‘We Will Rock You’ by Queen. This song is a favorite to 90% of the people over here: my friends, my schoolmates, even girls in my school like this song. At school we even banged our desks to make the tone of that song. At first I didn’t know that this was an all-time favorite, because I was only 7 when I first heard it. Then, when I hit the 4th Grade, almost everyone was singing the song and banging the desks for the tune.

This song runs for 2 minutes only. It might be a short song, but please go to YouTube and listen to it thrice or four times.

The editor’s book pick:

My current favorite book is ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl. This book is about a poor boy named Charlie, who stays with his parents and his grandparents in a small house. Then suddenly on the news Mr. Bucket (Charlie’s father) sees that Willy Wonka’s Factory was going to open and that he was going to invite five children who end up finding the golden tickets. Charlie finds the last one, and then the next morning Grandpa Joe and Charlie go to the factory with four more people. But I can’t say any further from this. Grab that book from Kindle or from your nearest store now!! 2 DHRUV TIMES 20.04.20 ALL INDIA EDITION

Despite being the 5th day that the coronavirus percentage in India has been a single digit, 1500+ cases have been reported in just 24 hours Along with that, more than 50 deaths have been reported in India, taking the death toll to a whopping 543. Looks like the cat has woken up. Can the cat catch up with the mouse, or will the mouse’s bodyguard (the dog) stop her?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang advised to leave 'failing' Arsenal by Gabon FA president Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been advised to leave Arsenal by the Gabon FA president.

The Gabon striker will be out of contract at the end of the 2020/21 season and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is keen for the Gunners captain to sign fresh terms with the club, rather than risk losing him on a free as they did with Aaron Ramsey last season.

Aubameyang has scored 20 goals in all competitions in 2019-20 and is thought to be a target for some of Europe's biggest clubs.

Gabon FA president Pierre Alain Mounguengui has urged him to leave the Emirates for a club playing in the Champions League.

"I don't want to say that Arsenal aren't ambitious, but Arsenal don't have ambitions as high as some other clubs as far as Europe is concerned," Mounguengui told ESPN.

Eden Hazard: Real Madrid star recovering well from ankle surgery, says Roberto Martinez Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard is recovering well from ankle surgery and will "return stronger", says Belgium head Roberto Martinez.

Hazard had the operation in the United States last month after fracturing his ankle in Real's defeat to Levante in February, having only just returned weeks earlier following a three-month layoff. The 29-year-old Belgian had looked set for another lengthy spell on the sidelines, but the suspension of football due to the coronavirus pandemic means he could still feature this season.

"I know he is recovering well. He is not far from running again and there are no complications," Belgium boss Martinez told local media.

"Everything went well with the operation, but you also hope that everything goes well in the four to five weeks afterwards without complications, and there were none.

"We know he will return stronger. We were also fortunate, of course, to have his surgery take place just before the coronavirus outbreak.

"Otherwise he would not be able to travel or be treated outside of Madrid. I have a positive feeling that Eden will be back soon."

Hazard, who joined Real from Chelsea last summer in a deal that could reportedly rise to £130m, has endured a difficult first season in Spain, scoring only once in 15 appearances. Manchester United's Odion Ighalo says Bruno Fernandes will take by storm Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo says Bruno Fernandes has had an impressive start to life at Old Trafford and will take the Premier League by storm.

Fernandes made an instant impact for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, with the Portuguese midfielder scoring twice and providing three assists in his first five 5 DHRUV TIMES 20.04.20 ALL INDIA EDITION league appearances, after joining from Sporting Lisbon in January for an initial fee of £46.6m. Ighalo had previously trained with Fernandes at Udinese before the pair were reunited at Old Trafford, and the Nigerian believes that Fernandes' performances will get even better as he settles into life at his new club.

Ighalo told the United Hangout: "He [Fernandes] is intelligent, he has foresight, he has vision. He sees what he wants to do with the ball before it comes to him. "You can see the understanding between him and [Anthony] Martial, you can see the understanding between me and him, so he's a very good player - and he's not even settled down yet.

"He comes from a very different place to the Premier League. When that guy has settled down, he's going to take the Premier League by storm."

Since arriving on loan from Shanghai Shenua in January, Ighalo says he has also been particularly impressed with Martial, who he believes is an even better player than what he appears on television.

Ighalo said: "Anthony, since I came, he's been scoring goals and doing so well, fighting a lot. He is a great player, he has great technique.

Welcome to Interview Time - A place where I am going to interview as many friends as I can (even my family too) every Monday. Yesterday, while on the phone I managed to interview a classmate of mine. Her name is Kimaya Badle and she studies in the class as mine (I study at Vibgyor High). Here are six rapid-fire questions which I had asked her on this Exclusive Interview:

D: What’s your favorite book? K: My favorite book is The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

D: If you had the freedom of going anywhere in this world, where would you go? K: I would go to Greece. I love the archaeological sites and the peace over there.

D: What is your favorite sport? K: My favorite sport is Judo as I learn the self-defense. It also helps me move my body and I can be safe wherever I go too.

D: What is one thing that scares you the most. K: What scares me out are ghosts. I once was watching a video on YouTube and then I saw a ghost. I got so frightened that I did not get out of my bed for five days
