Bike Week 2021, delivered by Cycling UK, is a week to celebrate cycling! Come and join an online community of cyclists of all ages, experiences and abilities this Bike Week. There are numerous challenges and activities for all members of the family, couples and individuals. Dust off your handle bars and bike helmet and see what Bike Week has in store for you! Did you know? Cycling can help increase your general fitness and help your mental health. That is why the theme of this Bike Week is Health and Wellbeing!

Did you know? Since a bike has no engine and is powered solely by pedalling, the only sources of Challenges CO2 emission is human respiration. A passenger car produces approximately 0.96 lb per mile travelled, while a bike produces only 0.074 lb. That’s roughly a tenth! New pedestrian/ cycle link coming in 2022! A new pedestrian/ cycle link is planned to better connect Heathy Wood with Railway Station via the A2220 Copthorne Road, so you will be able to get to the station in approx. 12min! Currently there is a connection to Three Bridges Station via the Copthorne Way/Common Road roundabout and the A2220 Copthorne Road (total journey time is approximately 15mins)
