He spent the last seven seasons as an assistant coach after serving the team in player development from 2010-12. Brind'Amour played 1,484 career NHL games in 21 seasons with STL, PHI and CAR, posting 1,184 points (452g, 732a) and captaining the Hurricanes to the in 2006. He ranks third in franchise history in career assists (299), fourth in points (473), fifth in games played (694) and tenth in goals (174).
