He has provide a good a perspective to the reader on what it is like to be a rising star. The criticism he had to face during his early years by the media and he also exposed the fact there were many criticism elsewhere. The book is pretty well written from a young author. Although, it may be confusing at times to follow as the book is not necessarily in its chronological order. May 12, Said Faqih rated it liked it. Aug 27, Khaddy added it. A pretty good read. As a Walcott fan i found it interesting but i don't think someone who's not a fan would find it as interesting. And it got a bit boring and repetitive after a point. He's still Theo: Growing Up Fast as a player. I think he should have waited a few years before publishing, when he's cemented his place in the Arsenal Theo: Growing Up Fast and he's won a few trophies. The book was enjoyable, even from a neutral's perspective. The only thing would be that it can get a little chronologically confusing at times, with the dates hopping from to then back to again. Otherwise, a decent, breezy read. Apr 23, View 2 comments. Sep 19, Fairus rated it really liked it Shelves: biography. I was wrong. The book is entertaining in some ways.
