REVISED NOTICE OF ORDER

WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 SECTION 53

Somerset County Council (No. 3) Modification Order, 2016 Parish of Wellington Without

Notice is hereby given that the above referenced Order has been submitted to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for determination. An Inspector will be appointed by the Secretary of State to determine the Order.

Consideration of the Order will take the form of a public local inquiry.

The Inquiry will be held at The Arundel Room, The Beambridge Inn, , Wellington, , TA21 0HB on Tuesday 23 May 2017 at 10.00am.

The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modifications, will be to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:

Deleting from them part of Footpath WG 12/13 in the parish of Wellington Without from a point situated at OS grid reference ST 0988, 2107 (point A on the Order Plan) leaving the County Road running in a generally south-south- easterly direction for a distance of approximately 47 metres, and thence in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 57 metres and thence in a generally westerly direction for a distance of approximately 22 metres to a point situated at grid reference ST 0988, 2097 (point B on the Order Plan). and Adding to them a footpath in the parish of Wellington Without situated at OS grid reference ST 0983, 2103 (point C on the Order Plan) leaving the County Road and running in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 79 metres to where it meets public footpath WG 12/13 at grid reference ST 0988, 2097. The width is 2.5 metres for the first 72 metres and 0.9 metres for the remaining 7 metres.
