( 2004—2008 ) Minored in Advertisement and PR, College of Media and Communication [email protected] www.jiwonpark.kr Professional Experiences ( —CURRENT ) Freelance Designer / Design Consultant, Seoul, Korea and Austin, TX participated in diverse commissioned design projects as private practice: hired as a Project Director to lead brand experience redesign project for Phoenix Hotels and Resorts, one of South Korea’s leading resort companies ( JUN–DEC 2016 ) – established a brand and service renewal task force team with ten internal employees, five external designers – conducted Brand/Service Diagnosis through analyzing the current situation and identifying the key issues – developed Brand Essence through key value proposition, identifying user segmentation, and creating the brand image and story – developed Brand Experience Turnaround Plan through user persona profile and scenario creation; and experience map generation – developed Brand Architecture through creating brand hierarchy and re-organizing information system (facility naming, program/service naming, zoning, wayfinding) – developed five-stage master plan for Brand Experience Application for 2016–2025 – a new corporate name and rebranded BI was launched as the first stage of a phased roll out (NOV 2016 ) served as a Design Education Advisor for K-Lab Yangon Project to develop a creative educational program for fabrication labs in developing countries ( APR–DEC 2016 ) – participated Korean government’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) project— Primary Government Project, article number 1–1–8, Developing a Foundation for Creative Economy Through ICT— a national project to institute one fabricating and manufacturing lab each year in diverse developing countries; – participated its first-year project consortium to institute Myanmar’s first fabrication/manufacturing facility; the consortium consists with Korean Engineering Club and FabLab Seoul, with the help of local partner University of Information Technology in Yangon, Burma. – developed a creative educational program and curriculum;
