NOTICE OF RACE
ORGANIZING AUTHORITIES
The race GIPUZKOA CHAMPIONSHIPS, HONDARRIBIA WASZP GAMES will be organized, in Hondarribia, Spain, from 19th to 21st August 2021, by the Nautical Club Hondarribia, in co-operation with Basque and Gipuzkoan sailing federations.
1. RULES 1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the WS Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2021-2024. 1.2. Waszp class rules. 1.3. Sailing instructions. 1.4. SAIL GP Inspire Waszp Selection Criteria. 1.5. Las RRS 44.1 y RRS P2.1 are changed by a 270º turn. 1.6. All participants must complete the "Declaration of submission to the specific rules of the COVID 19 pandemic"
2. ADVERTISING 2.1. Participants may be required to display advertising provided by the organization
3. ELIGIBILITY 3.1. This Regatta is reserved for the Waszp class, declared “Open”. 3.2. Participants must comply with the World Sailing Eligibility Code (Regulation 19).
4. REGISTRATION AND COACHES REGISTRATION 4.1. Registrations must be made before 24:00 on August 15, 2021 at: LINK 4.2. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept entries received after this date. 4.3. Registration is free

5. REGISTRATION 5.1. All participants will verify that the data in the registered list published in the TOA is correct, if there is an error or a change is wanted, the requests will be made by filling in the "change request" document and delivering it before 10:00 a.m. on the 19th at the regatta office. 5.2. For participants to be considered registered, their signature will be required on the signature control sheet on the first day.
6. SCHEDULE
Day 18 16.00 Test race. Day 19 12:00 briefing and races. Day 20 12:00 briefing and races. Day 21 12:00 briefing and races.
The schedule may be modified at the committee's discretion in accordance with the Waszp class sailors.
A WhatsApp group will be established for communications Price giving once the classifications have been established.
7. SCORING 7.1. Appendix A of the RRS will apply 7.2. The classes will sail in fleet a series of tests that will be indicated in the skippers´ briefings. 7.3. The regatta will be valid if one race is disputed. 7.4. The total score of each boat will be the sum of all the tests unless, more than three tests are carried out, its worst score will be discarded or its two worst scores if more than seven tests are carried out. 7.5. On August 21 there will be no warning signal after 17:00.
8. ORGANIZATION 8.1. All participating boats and support boats must anchor or beach only in the places designated by the organization. 8.2. Maximum collaboration with the organization staff is required, as well as respecting their instructions.
9. PRICES 9.1. There will be prices, at least for the first woman and the first man classified. 9.2. Failure to assist to the price giving ceremony will mean the loss of the right to receive the price. 9.3. The first two male sailors and the first two female sailors, of the U21 category, will win a place in the SAIL GP event to be held in Cádiz in October.

10. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS 10.1. The Sailing Instructions will be available to participants from 4:00 p.m. on the 17th at: http: /regatascnh-hib.sailti.com
11. IMAGE RIGHTS 11.1. Competitors automatically allow to the organizing authority and their sponsors, the right in perpetuity to make, use and display, at any time at their discretion, any image and direct, recorded or filmed on television or other reproductions of the athlete during the competition period, without compensation. 11.2. The boats may be required to carry cameras, sound equipment or GPS by the organizing authority. 11.3. Competitors may be required for interviews during the competition.
12. LIABILITY 12.1. In accordance with the provisions of Fundamental Rule 4 of the RRS, competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. 12.2. The Organizing Authority will accept no liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
