During this unprecedented time in our world’s history, where we have been locked up and asked to maintain social distancing in order to protect ourselves and others from COVID-19, participating safely in the Eucharist has proven to be a challenge due to the limited spaces we are allowed to use. We are all fighting feelings of isolation, panic and fear, as well as financial insecurity as so many are losing or have lost their jobs. Now more then ever, we must come together to help each other through the turbulent times our world is experiencing. We must lean on Jesus and pray that he gives each one of us the strength to push forward, to combat the struggle that is accompanying us in all we do, think and say. We must pray to Jesus to help lead us to new opportunities that can help us to grow his kingdom on earth.

It is through prayer that an opportunity has presented itself to us in addressing the need for a bigger space for the Beaver Valley Parishes during the current restrictions of COVID-19. Our Mass attendance has been so great that we were getting close to exceeding the maximum amount of people at each Mass. While this is a great problem to have, we must be diligent in trying to protect every parishioner and Adorer who enters our buildings for worship. While having increased to nine Masses is beautiful, it is not a permanent or viable solution. Page Six | EVANGELION • Sunday, March 22, 2020 • greatgrouping.org In an effort to worship as a community and regain the closeness that now seems so evasive in today’s circumstances, we are preparing to use the gymnasium of Quigley Catholic High School for weekend Masses. Quigley has recently closed and is now sitting vacant in Baden. This larger space would allow for a greater number in attendance while still strictly maintaining the social distance guidelines. The facility is handicapped-accessible, and plenty of parking is available. Looking ahead to Advent, as we prepare for the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, what a blessing it would be to see those faces that we have not seen over the past several months and also meet new parishioners from our grouping parishes that would not be possible if we were not worshipping together. mass times at quigley please come to SATURDAYS quigley open house Confessions at 3:00 PM THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22 Mass at 4:00 PM from 6:00-8:00 PM SUNDAYS Mass at 8:00, 9:30, & 11:00 AM unday, October 18, 2020 • greatgrouping.org • S unday, Page Seven | EVANGELION announcements from around the grouping greatgrouping.org/announcements Offering of intentions trunk or treat October is the month of our Blessed Mother and, as Everyone is encouraged to join us for a Trunk or such, many prayers and intentions are given to Her to Treat on Sunday, October 25, 2-4PM in the Saints pray for us to Her Son.
