 Boys Soccer Team Dinner. Tuesday, Oct 15th @ 5:00pm in the CHS Commons  PSAT Day. Wednesday, Oct 16th. All Century High School sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT test today! Be sure to bring #2 pencils and a calculator (no phones) to the exam!  Senior Panoramic Picture. Wednesday, October 16th @ 11am in the CHS Large Gym. SENIORS MAKE SURE YOU ARE HERE!!! If you would like to order a panoramic picture, order envelopes are in the front office. Cost is $16 for a laminated picture, or $12 for non-laminated.  Fall Play Performances “12 Angry Jurors”. October 17th-21st @ 7pm in the CHS Auditorium  Financial Aid Night. Wednesday, Oct 23rd @ 7pm in the CHS Media Center. This is for seniors and his/her parents to learn about Financial Aid and have any and all questions answered!  Fall Choir Concert. Tuesday, Oct 29th @7pm in the CHS Auditorium  CHS Diamondback Roundup. Thursday, Nov 7th @ 5:30pm. Dutch oven Dinner, Silent & Live Auction, CAR Raffle. Tickets for CAR Raffle are $5.00 each and can be purchased from CHS or any club or athletic team of Century. (See attached flyer!)  Winter Sports Tryouts. Girls Basketball held Nov 4th-5th, Boys Basketball held Nov 15th-16th. No tryouts for Wrestling. (See attached flyer for additional details)  Fall Band Concert. Friday, Nov 8th @ 7:00pm in the Auditorium  Veteran’s Day Assembly. Monday, Nov 11th. (Additional info coming soon)  Herff Jones Grad Fair. Thursday, Nov 21st from 3-7pm in the CHS Commons. Parents and Seniors are encouraged to attend the Grad Fair to order cap and gown, announcements and/or any other memorabilia you would like for your students to have. Representatives from Herff Jones will be present to answer your questions and help you pick out and order your items.  Boys Basketball Open Gym. Every Thursday Morning from 7:15am-8:15am starting Oct 3rd thru Nov 7th. (See attached flyer for additional details)

 Marching Band Wins First Competition. The CHS Marching Band took 1st place at their first competition in Madison! Additionally, they took caption awards in outstanding music, visual, percussion, and color guard in the 4A division!

Due to a change in instructor availability for the driver education program, the next driver education classes with the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No. 25 will be offered during the summer months of 2020. If there are any changes to this schedule or if a class becomes available sooner than June 2020, information will be made available on the school district website. Registration for the summer 2020 classes will begin April 7, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. at the school district transportation department. Please provide the required receipt for the instruction permit at the time of registration.

 Drivers Ed. The registration period for the summer driver education sessions begins April 7th, 2020 and will continue until the courses are at capacity. Two summer sessions are scheduled; one will be held in June and another in July of 2020. A third session will be added in August, if needed. The classroom component for all classes will be taught Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. To complete the driving component there will be drives available at various times throughout each day. Space in each class is limited. Class Registration is first come, first served. Students must have purchased a permit to be eligible for registration – no exceptions. Registration will be held at the Transportation Department located in the back of the Education Service Center during the following dates & times until the classes are full: Registration Dates: Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 until classes are at capacity Office Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Tuesday-Friday) Location: 3115 Pole Line Rd.  Science Club. Will be holding its first meeting on Tuesday, September 10th in Mr. Williams room C102. There is a sign up sheet outside of his room for new members. Anyone interested in Science can join!!!!

 Seniors FAFSA. Will open on October 1st, please b on the lookout for information on how to apply  Seniors Apply . Will open on October 1st. This is a great way to apply to many Idaho Colleges and universities at once. Be on the lookout for information on how to apply.  Montana Tech University. Did you know that Montana Tech University is 9th in the nation for best public universities for how much they cost? If you would like to learn more, Montana Tech will be visiting us on Tuesday, October 15th during 2nd hour, please sign up in the Counseling Center to be sure to not miss this presentation.  . Did you know that the University of Idaho is the largest campus in Idaho? A representative will also be here on October 15th during lunch, snacks will be provided. Please sign up in the Counseling Center.  The Southeast Idaho College Fair. Will be held on Wednesday, October 16th from 5-8pm at Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls. Over 30 different colleges and universities will be represented at this event, please be sure to check it out to learn about the different options available after high school.  ISU. Did you know that offers the only Honors Diploma in the state of Idaho? The ISU Honors Program will be visiting Century on Thursday, October 17th during 4th hour. The Honors Program offers additional scholarships, internships, classes, and many other amazing benefits! The deadline to apply to the Honors Program is fast approaching, so this is a great opportunity to learn more. Please be sure to sign up in the Counseling Center.  BYU Visit. On Thursday, October 17th, BYU will be at Century during 2nd hour. Please sign up in the Counseling Center to learn more about what BYU has to offer!  CSI Campus Tour & Football Game Spirit Bus. On October 18th, we have a two for one experience for you! We will be touring the College of Southern Idaho . After visiting CSI, we will be cheering on our Diamondbacks at the Minico/CHS football game at Minico High School in Rupert. Sign up in the Counseling Center and don’t forget to fill out and return the permission form to the College and Career Advisors.

SENIORS…… As you are ordering transcripts for college applications and /or scholarships, you need to come prepared with the following information: Name of College, City and State for transcripts to colleges and/or the name of the scholarship that you are applying for. You need to have that ordered in two weeks in advance of when it needs to be at the college or the due date of the scholarship. Please come see Mrs. Nalley with this information and she will be more than happy to work with you.
