1965 Record Releases 1965 UK Record Releases by Date This is a list of all UK 45 singles and EP’s found on the 45 cat website and any new release sheets as of the 18/01/2016. Generally records that don't have a full release are not included. Some spoken word only records are not listed. Records that would have had a specific week when they were fist released, but which dates have not been found, but are known to have been issued on an actual month are included at the end of each weekly listing for the month in question. Numbers in red indicate ownership on 45 cat for those with 5 or more. Records that made the charts of the time are only stated where no specific week has been found or if a chart record fails to score 5 ownership indications - indicated by the term chart hit. Any number that follows is an ownership indication not a chart position. Only A sides are listed. Records were generally released on a Friday. Any record listed only by the year 1965 on the 45 cat site are not included in this list. As such records could have been issued in 1966 or later. Up to the first half of 1965, records released could have the year 1964 on them. Release date information is obtained from two sources. Firstly marked promo records and secondly from printed sources, such as new release sheets. Both of theses were subject to variation and change. Artists are listed first then the title shown in italics. EP tracks are not all listed. If the title of the EP does not include an actual song that is on it, then the first track will be listed. 01 January 1965 The Marvelettes Too Many Fish In The Sea 16 Jack Jones Dear Heart The Novas The Crusher Big Maybelle Careless Love Billy Fury I'm Lost Without You 34 Joanie Sommers If You Love Him Riz Ortolani And His Orchestra The Yellow Rolls-Royce Babbity Blue Don't Make Me (Fall In Love With You) 13 Four + One Time Is On My Side 10 08 January 1965 Gitte The Heart That You Break Sue Thompson Paper Tiger 16 Ronnie Carroll Dear Heart 8 The Syndicats Howlin' For My Baby 16 Dickie Rock And The Miami Showband Round And Around 5 Jim Dale Forget Tomorrow Tony Brook Love Dances On Peppi The Skip Elaine And Derek Invisible Tears Beau Brummell Esquire I Know, Know, Know 18 Rolf Harris The Five Young Apprentices / The Court Of King Caractacus 8 Ronnie Hilton A Windmill In Old Amsterdam 33 Cilla Black You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' 42 The George Martin Orchestra All Quiet On The Mersey Front 5 Jackie Lynton Three Blind Mice The Pickwicks Little By Little 6 The Tony Hatch Orchestra Crossroads Theme to the TV Soap - 9 The Riot Squad Anytime Bern Elliott Guess Who Joe Tex Hold What You've Got 14 Manfred Mann Come Tomorrow 74 The Righteous Brothers You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' 95 15 January 1965 The Black Knights I Gotta Woman Milva I'll Set My Love To Music Kenny Little And The Little People A Shot In The Dark Paul Revere And The Raiders Like Long Hair 9 Dean Martin (Remember Me) I'm The One Who Loves You The Dave Clark Five Everybody Knows 23 Del Shannon Keep Searchin' (We'll Follow The Sun) 63 Daryl Quist Put Away Your Teardrops Johnny Thunder Send Her To Me Mary Wells Ain't It The Truth 7 Ted Heath And His Music Bombay Duckling (The Kipling Theme) The Kingston Trio I'm Going Home The Marionettes Whirlpool Of Love Migil 5 Just Behind The Rainbow 5 Paul Anka To Wait For Love (Is To Waste Your Life Away) 5 The Rustiks I'm Not The Loving Kind 6 Val Doonican The Special Years 38 Julie Grant Baby, Baby (I Still Love You) Danny King Pretty Things The Gamblers Now I'm All Alone 6 Peter, Paul And Mary For Lovin' Me The Primitives You Said 11 Little Richard (There'll Be) Peace In The Valley (For Me) The Tornados Granada 8 The Dolphins Hey-Da-Da-Dow Jimmy Radcliffe Long After Tonight Is All Over 24 Bobbie Graham Skin Deep 19 The Who I Can't Explain 98 The Kinks Tired Of Waiting For You 125 The "You Know Who" Group Roses Are Red My Love 5 Ernie Freeman Raunchy '65 James Brown And The Famous Flames Have Mercy Baby 8 The Supremes Come See About Me 39 22 January 1965 Johnny Desmond Rio Conchos Freddie Self Don't Cry Dean Martin You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You Frankie Laine Go On With Your Dancing Dilys Watling I'm Over You Dickie Valentine It's Better To Have Loved The Alan Clare Group Milligatawny (Theme From "Muses With Milligan" B.B.C. Neil Foster spiritualises Carole Lateman lets us into her life John Howard rocks it up in Las Vegas Keith gets to know more about Iain Terry Soul Kitchen, Jazz Junction, Blues Rambling And more... 1 The recent piece by Tony Papard has spurred me to write a little about the paranormal and the arguments both for and against it. First, an experience (concerning a communication from the dead) that my mother had. She once told me that she often used to wake up in the middle of the night to see her late father standing by the bed, not as a vague shape, but as real-looking as if he were still alive. I asked her if she was frightened by the apparition and she replied, “Well, I didn't like it but I knew he wasn't real, so I pulled the clothes over my head and went back to sleep.” So, did she really see her dead father standing by the bed or...? Obviously, she could never “prove” that it happened as she described and no one else could prove that it didn't. However, there is a way around this logical impasse.

G Mit allen sechs 78er-Platten von George McCormick und Earl Aycock sowie sechs Singles von George McCormick. G Sweet Little Miss Blue Eyes und If You Got Anything Good werden häufig als zwei der besten Country-Duette aller Zeiten bezeichnet.

  • Prayer - a Sacred Conversation "Consult Not Your Fears, but Your Hopes and Your Dreams
Established 1967 www.lucannewsletter.ie Subscription 80c Sunday 16th May 2021 Prayer - A Sacred Conversation "Consult not your fears, but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern not yourself with what you tried and failed in, but what it is still possible to do. Now is the time to put aside past and present setbacks and failures and look with confidence to the new day called tomorrow. "Pope John XXIII". A personal relationship, with God is indeed a sacred gift that brings rich blessings. I love the following reflection on prayer. "Spiritual poverty clings to nothing and nothing clings to it." Lord, forgive us that we are so busy when we come into your presence. We have to tell you all our needs in case you might forget some of them. We make many resolutions in case you don't think well of us. We are anxious to get some teaching from you that will keep us faithful to your will. We thank you for the times when you invited us just to be quiet and remain in your love, your permanent unconditional love, the kind you had from your Father. "Prayer is not meant to change the world. It is meant to change us so that we will then change the world." Lord, we have made the commandments into cold, objective obligations, and many of them, at that. We thank you that they are gestures of love; The tender embrace between husband and wife before leaving for work. The words of wisdom that a great leader speaks to his intimate followers on his deathbed.

Although the Spring season is just around the corner, our pantomime is just taking off and we are delighted to be partnered this year by Little Wolf Productions, an award- winning company who usher us into a new era of panto in Solihull with Sleeping Beauty which opens on Friday 14 December. With plenty of gift ideas for family and friends, we highly recommend giving tickets as gifts as everyone looks forward to a night out and our Box Office team pride themselves on having a show to suit everyone from 3 to 103! Take a glance opposite and don’t forget Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter are just a few weeks away. Spring 2019 will be the season of ‘taking part’ at this venue, with plenty of new opportunities for all ages, why not try our new Monday morning Gentle Yoga class to wake up your week, join our Community Choir on Thursdays at lunchtime. For young people we have a new Saturday Art Club in the Courtyard for ages 8 - 14 years or get your whole family booked up for our very first Solihull Bookfest , from the organisers of the popular Bournville Bookfest, which attracts the very best names in family literature and all things books (see page 13).
