PROJECT MANAGER – MICROSOFT SQL SERVER

We have created a new Manager role to work with our technical teams on all aspects of customer facing engagements for MS SQL Server (Networking, Azure IaaS and PaaS, Power BI and reporting technologies). If you are an experienced with a deep understanding of SQL Server who is looking for a new venture with a progressive company where you will have the opportunity to shape your role and where your contribution is recognised and rewarded, then this could be the job for you. We deliver Consultancy services across the MS SQL Server and BI stack as well as Azure to include Virtualisation, implementation and optimisation of Data Storage and modernisation and migration of customer environments.

We’re looking for someone who is: Great with people and can: • Project manage from to project completion • Manage Stakeholder expectations • Manage • Develop full planning and documentation in line with an Agile approach whilst ensuring appropriate governance • Stay calm under pressure whilst resolving technical and issues • Manage multiple (up to 8) ranging from 20-50 days each • Win others over with a collaborative approach • Identify opportunities for additional services • Build and maintain strong client relationships and uphold our exceptional level of customer satisfaction • Travel to customer sites in the South East and across the UK with some overnights away

Intelligent and enthusiastic and has: • Extensive SQL Server Project Management experience • A high level of understanding of MS SQL Server (Networking, Azure IaaS and PaaS, Power BI and reporting technologies) up to 2016 • A proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving and identifying areas for improvement • Excellent skills in English, both verbal and written • An engaging presentation style • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings with personnel at all levels and gain acceptance for new and complex initiatives

Ideally you’ll have: • The details: • Prince 2 Practitioner, ITIL, TOGAF, Agile – Salary range: Up to £55,000 basic salary plus a SCRUM generous car allowance of £6,000, a valuable benefits package and a discretionary bonus of up to • 10% of basic salary. Location: Office based near Reading but frequent travel to customer sites within the UK which may require overnight stays away from home.
