This morning, 10 November, I sat for Morning Prayer in St Peter’s

Church, Stowmarket amidst Christmas Trees awaiting their decorators.

For the past few weeks shops have displayed their Christmas Fayre and

it is as traditional as Christmas itself to moan and complain that it starts

too early. But when the chips are down most people will say that they

actually enjoy Christmas because at the very least it is good to have a
