Copies of this document are available online at the above webpage. This report provides a summary of the emerging policy content of the Cranbrook & Sissinghurst Neighbourhood Plan. Vision for the Cranbrook & Sissinghurst Neighbourhood Plan

The vision and objectives for the neighbourhood plan have been derived from the consultation work undertaken while the plan was being prepared. All future development proposals will be assessed against the vision and objectives.

Only those proposals that clearly conform should be supported. This is particularly important at the planning application stage, which will remain the means of delivering changes on the ground. All planning applications will be assessed against the vision and objectives of the plan, together with the provisions of the planning policies. The vision for the plan is as follows:

“The future parish community will be one which celebrates and maintains our rich medieval and other heritage, whilst ensuring a sustainable and vibrant future for the greatest benefit to the community, its schools and businesses”

Are the vision and objectives the right ones? How could they be improved? What else should they cover? Let us know what you think.
