2019 Easy Riders Youth Academy
What’s it all about?

Then book onto our youth academy week from the 12th-16th August 2019, every afternoon, where they will learn about the weather, wind, tides, learn to fly a kite, learn to get up on a board and become awesome safe and independent kitesurfers!
Where is this?
Based in the Poole Harbour where the water is waist deep and shallow, no obstacles and the surrounding Brownsea island and sand spit means the water is also flat, the perfect playground to learn to kitesurf, especially for kids!
We are based at Easy Beach at Shore Road where you will find a big silver van and orange trailer with a changing room and storage facilities! All the kit and safety cover is provided.

The Course
• 12–17 years old • Every afternoon for 5 days, from 1:30pm – 4:30pm • One morning or afternoon each week until September – Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday weather permitting
Day 1 Land Based – What is kitesurfing / Theory / Site assessment / Foil kite flying
Day 2 Water Based – Site assessment / LEI Rigging / Bodydrags / Safety pack down
Day 3 Water Based – Site assessment / LEI Rigging / Bodydrags / Board starts / Safety pack down
Day 4 Water Based - Site assessment / LEI Rigging / Board starts / Safety pack down / Rules of the road
Day 5 Water Based – Kite QUIZ! / LEI Rigging / Site assessment / Board starts & riding

Easy Riders is recognized by the BSUPA, British Kitesports & the Adventurous Activities Licensing Service (AALS).
All our instructors are fully qualified and first aid trained.
Students must be 12-17 years old at the time of the course.
We are a small friendly operation, committed to getting people having fun and learning new skills in kitesurfing, power kiting and much more. We open 7 days a week throughout the summer (April 1st – October 31st) and stay open, weather dependent, throughout the winter.
We offer a range of courses over a number of sports. All these are weather dependent. In the event of non-agreeable weather, often an alternative sport can be offered; alternatively, customers can re-book at a later and mutually convenient date. It is not possible to refund any bookings due to adverse weather conditions.
All lesson vouchers and credit slips for lessons are valid for 12 months*. Once expired they will not be valid. If subsequent credit slips need to be given, they will be valid until the date of the original vouchers expiry date. (*Please be advised that there will be limited availability between 1st November until 1st April)
A lesson voucher must be produced on the day of your lesson. Full payment must be made if a voucher is not produced and will be refunded if a voucher is produced within 7 days.
All lessons and activity sessions are run by qualified staff whose decision on the suitability of conditions for the activity is final.
No Easyriders course guarantees a level of attainment. We work towards these in accordance with clients abilities and achievements.
All re-bookings will be handled directly with customers for further courses and rebooking in the event of adverse conditions.

A failure to attend a booked course without any prior notice will result in the course being forfeited with no recompense. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to rearrange a pre booked course.
All invoices and course payments will be made at the time of booking, in advance of course commencement.
If you are unhappy with our terms and conditions of booking you can change your mind and have a full refund within 24 hours of your booking confirmation.
No booking will be confirmed until full payment for the course is received.
Late invoices will incur a £40 fee according to UK law.
Interest will be charged per month at 8% from date of late payment according to UK law.
