PHILIPPINES LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS IN MAGUINDANAO As of 22 March 2021
Government security forces conducted law Buldon enforcement operations against the members of Parang 2015 Total Population (in thousands) the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters Parang (BIFF) in Maguindanao starting 18 March 2021. < 20 20 - 30 30 - 40 40 - 70 70 - 99 The operations caused displacement in the Sultan Mastura Displacement municipalities of Shariff Saidona Mustapha, Sultan Kudarat Shariff Aguak, Datu Saudi Ampatuan and ‘SPMS’ box - Salbu (Datu Saudi Ampatuan), Mamasapano. An inter-agency assesment was Sultan Kudarat Pagatin (Datu Salibo/Shariff Saydona Mustapha), conducted on 19 March 2021 participated by Mamasapano and Shariff Aguak [Total Popn(2015 Census): 97,866] response agencies from regional and provincial COTABATO CITY agencies. Following on the result of assessment, COTABATO Government and humanitarian partners Northern Kabuntalan Pagalungan mobilized assistance to address the immediate needs by providing food packs, sleeping kits, water container, hygiene kits and tarpaulins.
