SCOUTING REPORT

WSC: The Wildcats are having a bit of a down year after finishing the 2015 season with a 34-21, 18-12 NSIC record. Lexie Loos returns to the lineup with a .434 batting average with 33 hits, three doubles, one triple, 17 runs and six RBI for a .500 slugging percentage and a .482 on-base percent- age. She is a speedster on the base paths with 10 stolen bases in as many attempts and has committed only one error in the field in 49 attempts for a .980 fielding percentage. She will get help from Emily Chandler who leads the team with a .482 batting average, 27 hits, six doubles, one triple, one home run, 11 runs, 15 RBI, a .679 slugging percentage, five walks, and a .525 on-base percentage. Wayne State has three seperate players with at least three home runs on the season, led by Shelby Wobken with four and a .263 batting average. The Wildcats have struggled a bit in the circle as Cassy Miller owns the best ERA at 5.97 with a 4-10 record so far on the year, though she does power her way through lineups as she has 82 strikeouts in 88 innings pitched and a .292 batting average against.

AUGIE: The Vikings are led on the offensive end by Carley Pickett as she hits .372 on the year with 29 hits, five doubles, 19 runs, nine RBI, a .436 slugging percentage, 11 walks, a .462 on-base percentage and only one error in 24 attempts for a .958 fielding percentage. Carly Peterson returns to the lineup as she is hitting .370 on the year with 30 hits, 12 doubles, one triple, three home runs, 26 runs, 14 RBI, a .654 slugging percentage, 10 walks and a .469 on-base percentage. Sarah Kennedy returns as well with a .368 batting average, 28 hits, nine doubles, two home runs, 19 runs, 22 RBI, a .566 slugging percentage, 12 walks and a .451 on-base percentage. Mag- gie Kadrlik brings the power with five home runs and six doubles in 27 hits to go with a .365 batting average, 12 runs, 24 RBI, a .649 slugging percent- age, five walks and a .466 on-base percentage. Karlee Koopman leads the pitching rotation with a 1.79 ERA in 78.1 innings pitched to go with a 6-5 record, 15 appearances, 12 starts, 42 strikeouts and a .259 batting average against.
