The idyllic location of The Trearddur Bay hotel, overlooking the sandy beach of Trearddur is the perfect venue for your wedding, with five licensed areas for civil ceremonies both inside with panoramic views and outside in The Breeze House, weather permitting! We cater for all party sizes from couples to parties of 150, and for larger celebrations of up to 300 guests we are more than happy to accommodate marquees.

Creating fantastic home-cooked and tasty food is what we are all about. Our menus offer a selection of tempting dishes, from traditional wedding breakfast to mouth-watering local specialities. We also offer a range of buffet menus and a succulent hog roast. If you would prefer to create your own bespoke menus and buffets, this is something that we are more than happy to arrange, please speak with your wedding planner for more details. If you wish to hold your ceremony at the hotel we have 5 licensed areas for civil ceremonies.

Please contact the Registry office to make arrangements for your marriage to take place at the hotel. Two registrars will attend your marriage, one will conduct the ceremony and the other will register the marriage.

CONFIRMING YOUR WEDDING DATE

We can provisionally hold a wedding date for you for 10 days from the day of booking. In order to confirm your reservation we require a deposit of 800.00. If the wedding date is not confirmed within the 10 day period, the date will be released. Please note that the deposit of 800 is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

ACCOMMODATION REQUIREMENTS

The Trearddur Bay Hotel has 47 en-suite bedrooms, they comprise of the following:

15 Deluxe rooms, with garden and sea views, some with balconies 6 Family rooms with truckle beds and sofa beds 26 Standard double/twin rooms

An allocation of rooms can be reserved in advance (subject to availability), the amount of rooms dependant on the wedding package selected.

The amount of allocated bedrooms for the wedding package is noted on each wedding package.

All rooms on the allocation that have not been confirmed will be released 12 weeks prior to the wedding. A reduced rate for allocated rooms is available as follows.

These rates include full Welsh breakfast, VAT and are based on two persons sharing a room. Check in time on the day of arrival is 3pm. Please note that the reduced wedding rate can only be used for a maximum of two nights. For additional night’s stay please refer to our hotel tariff.

We can provisionally hold any available date for a maximum 14 days. Upon confirmation, a non-refundable, non- transferable deposit of £800.00 is required to secure your wedding

6 months prior to the date of the wedding a 50% payment of the total balance is to be paid.

3 months prior to the date of the wedding a 25% of the balance remaining will be required

The final balance is due 28 days prior to your wedding date. This date will also be the confirmation of final numbers and all details of the day will be finalise

Any outstanding charges will be payable on departure of the hotel

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should the unfortunate need to cancel your booking arise, then this can only be honoured on receipt of written instruction

Up to 6 months 800.00 initial deposit

Between 1 and 6 months 50% of the total cost

Under 1 month 100% of the total cost

Wedding insurance is something that can be overlooked. We do advise that wedding insurance is taken out to offer you peace of mind and financial protection should the need arise. Please speak to your bank or seek advice from a qualified financial expert

1. Confirmation of your wedding date a. Bookings will be treated as provisional until the client returns the signed contract together with the required deposit. In the event of the client failing to do so, The Trearddur Bay Hotel reserves the right to cancel the wedding, we will do this by telephoning the client and in writing. b. Schedule of payments- your final numbers should be confirmed to the hotel no less than 28 days prior to your wedding, with the outstanding bill to be paid 28 days prior, please note the following payment schedule: (Please note, weddings booked within 6 months of the wedding date will have an amended payment schedule issued) i. 50% of estimated bill required 6 months prior to wedding ii. 75% of estimated bill required 3 months prior to wedding iii. 100% of the outstanding wedding bill to be settle 28 days prior to wedding

2. Deposits & Payments a. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of 800.00 is required to secure your wedding booking. If this amount is not paid within 10 days of provisionally making your wedding reservation, The Trearddur Bay Hotel may treat the booking as cancelled. b. 100% of the outstanding bill is payable 28 days prior to the event. c. All deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. d. If the client asks The Trearddur Bay Hotel to provide items or services other than these quoted on the estimate, which have had to be obtained from an outside supplier, then the charge will appear on the invoice from The Trearddur Bay hotel to the client. If however, the client arranges these items or services directly with their own supplier, then The Trearddur Bay Hotel will not be responsible for invoicing. e. Due to the size and nature of The Trearddur Bay Hotel it is necessary that we operate the following cancellation charges: cancellation 12 weeks prior to the wedding, then 100% of the estimated bill will be due, including the original deposit, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the management. f. If any additional charges are incurred on the day of the event, or after the invoice has been sent out to the client, The Trearddur Bay Hotel will require payment for these items on the day of the event g. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by the client h. The Trearddur Bay Hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking, should an unforeseen event occur that would make the agreed arrangements impossible to fulfil. In the event of such termination, The Trearddur Bay Hotel will reimburse the client immediately. The client hereby waives any claim for compensation from the Trearddur Bay Hotel in this instance. i. The Trearddur Bay Hotel reserves the right to adjust prices at the bar or for menus. Any increase in meal and buffet prices will be notified in writing as soon as they are known. Exception from this ruling must be obtained in writing from The Trearddur Bay Hotel.

3. Damage a. The client is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their wedding party/guests, agents, employees etc, and shall pay The Trearddur Bay Hotel the necessary amount to repair any said damage. Any bills either from food, drink, accommodation or any bedrooms cleaning costs due to smoking or sickness; or any other extra cleaning not paid by one of the wedding party, will be charged to the client or in signing the contract the client agrees.

a. The Trearddur Bay Hotel does not insure any items bought onto the premises by the client or their guests. Therefore, The Trearddur Bay Hotel respectfully suggests that the client takes out suitable insurance cover prior to the event.
