Montepulciano d’Albruzzo (Italy) R240 An intense red colour, with a pleasant bouquet, elegant with delicate aromas of red berries. Full-bodied, the palate is dry, soft, with pleasant, light tannins.

Raka - Quinary (Stanford) R78 R235 A deep ruby colour. This Bordeaux blend reveals a complex nose of spice, blackberries, a touch of mint and cigar box. The wine is well balanced, with a full mouth feel which will improve with ageing up to 8 years.

Ataraxia – Serenity (Hermanus) R330 Aromas of dark berry fruit, mineral and spicy notes. Refined, polished tannins, elegant structure. Ethereal, yet assertive.

Chianti (Italy) R340 Beautiful cherry red hues, the fragrant violet and Marasà cheal taste is characterized by a very clean, freshness, pleasant and a good concentration accompanied by moderate tannins.

Creation (Hermanus) R360 Aromas of ripe black olive and whiffs of pepper. Full-bodied Rhone-style blend, flavours of ripe plum, black pepper and smokiness. Supple ripe tannins and a natural acidity.

Mount Rozier – Myrtle Grove (Stellenbosch) R150 Deep ruby colour, huge mouth-filling flavours of blackberry, cassis and some earthy tones. The great concentration tannins will ensure that it will only become more complex with age.

Hoopenberg - Bushvine (Stellenbosch) R170 Red fruit dominates, notes of raspberries. Palate: A smooth, rich, meaty multi-layered wine with good freshness .

Dornier (Stellenbosch) R145 Bursting with aromas of strawberries and raspberries. The palate is vivacious with a bright acidity and flavours of Turkish delight, sweet red berries and sour cherry. The finish is dry with a pleasant length.

Morganhof – Fantail Sauv/Chenin (Stellenbosch) R155 On the nose and palate this wine shows refreshing flavours of lime, citrus and mango with a hint of floral tones. These flavours follow through onto a fruity, luscious palate which ends with a lingering crispness.

Youthfully tight, this should cruise for some time in the cellar.
