Designed by The PPL Group 3 Introduction Since the publication of R&A Championships and International Matches 1984-2012 by Peter N . Lewis, an annual update has been produced . The 2016 supplement takes the same format as the 1984-2012 bound volume in the way that results are presented . All R&A championships played in 2016 are included . The Walker Cup was not played owing to its biennial staging . The 1984-2012 volume includes a chapter on players’ records from international matches, providing year-by-year results for each player who participated in the Walker Cup, the St Andrews Trophy, the Youths’ International Match for the European Golf Association Trophy and the Jacques Leglise Trophy . In the supplement, records are included only for those players who competed in 2016 . If they competed in a previous year, this record is included, but the full complement of records dating back to 1984 has not been included . The same approach is applied to the Statistical Summary, which relates only to team events contested in 2016, in this case the Jacques Leglise Trophy and the St Andrews Trophy .
