This paragraph certainly gets directly to the issue we are dealing with. We are to promote the AUTHENTIC restoration of Plymouths and Fargo vehicles. That means we need to judge these cars against a standard of a factory shipped car. Original Plymouths did not come from the factory with modern modifications.

March 2016 Plymouth Is Out To Win You Over! Since the last newsletter we have had two outings President: (one official and one unofficial). The official one Dean Yates with a Club meeting was held on February 27 at [email protected] StreetSide Classics in Charlotte, NC. StreetSide is the nation’s top consignment dealer of classic and Vice President: collectible cars. Mr. John Gibson is the Consignment Rockey Rozell Manager for the Charlotte location. He welcomed [email protected] our club and described their operations to us in some detail, he also encouraged us to do business with Secretary/Membership: Greg Errett them in buying, storing, or putting a car up for [email protected] consignment with them to market and sell. They had many very nice fine MOPARs on their showroom Treasurer: floor and we all enjoyed viewing them. More Joe Brown information on our meeting can be found in the [email protected] February Minute section in this newsletter. Below are some fine examples of some very nice MOPARs Activities / Webpage / Newsletter: at their Charlotte location. I love spring time and glad to see the winter season long gone. It seems the pollen is much worse this year or is it I’m just getting older and it affects me more. Headaches, coughing, and sneezing; I love it all because the warmth makes my bones feel good.

February 2016 Plymouth Is Out To Win You Over! much about the freezing rain and ice. Now that I’m President: older I just wish it would all go away. As a matter of Dean Yates fact I could do without winter all together except for [email protected] Christmas, my wife’s birthday in January, and my Grandson Luke’s birthday in February. I know, I’m Vice President: just sitting here trying to make things better when Rockey Rozell God has made ALL things perfect. Please forgive me [email protected] and I will move on. Secretary/Membership: Greg Errett Thinking back to Valentine Day reminds me of my [email protected] first new car. My first car was a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 2 Dr HT and what a beautiful car she was. Treasurer: It was red with a white/gray interior, 318 ci, and 3 Joe Brown speed automatic (yes! I had a Christine car before the [email protected] book or the movie). I was now out Activities / Webpage / Newsletter: of school, and had a good paying job when the 1967 Dean Yates Plymouths came out. The draft board now had me [email protected] classified 1Y because of a kidney stone (yes I even http://clubs.hemmings.com/carolinaplymouth had them back then) so I started looking to upgrade my ride as fins were out and horsepower was in. All the ads in the magazines and on television were telling me that ‘Plymouth Is Out To Win You Over’ well that had already happen with the dated but still nice red ’58.
