Historical Background: This rural district was incorporated into the City of Hull under the Extension Act of 1929 Geo V 19 and 20 Cap 88 and the records were duly transferred to the City

Description: Correspondence with the Rural District's Engineers and Surveyor's department in relation to individual applications for the commencement of building work (mostly domestic dwelling houses) and agreements.

Related material: The plans transferred to the City from various districts under the 1929 and 1936 extensions were merged into a single Added Areas group with the reference TAB/38-9. (7 boxes). This collection also included deposited street plans and sewer works which were merged into TSG (City Engineer's records) refs: TSG 437, 439-456, 465-466 and 518-519
